De Cuenca a la frontière péruvienne, 5h. On ne se presse pas et profitons d'une dernière demi-journée dans cette belle ville de Cuenca en cette matinée ensoleillée.
La frontière se rapproche, un petit stress commence a apparaitre, il nous faut réussir à choper un bus pour Mancora, notre destination finale pour la journée.
Premier arrêt : le poste de control équatorien. Déjà, le bus veut nous laisser la...les emmerdes commencent et ne finiront que 4heures plus tard.
Un sympathique jeune homme nous explique comment fonctionne le passage a la frontière. Toujours se méfier des gens trop sympas.Il nous met en garde contre les vols fréquents sur le pont qui relie l'Equateur au Pérou et nous propose de changer nos dollars en Equateur ou le taux de change est nettement plus avantageux. Je me mefie de ces changeurs ambulants et ne donne que 25 dol, histoire de pouvoir arriver jusqua Mancora . Delphine demande 100 dol...
De l'autre cote du pont, on harponne les touristes pour un collectivo jusqua l'autre poste de garde, 2km plus loin. Cest en réalite un taxi. On se méfie, on négocie le prix, il nous montre son permis, sa carte grise....1 dol 50, on y va. Au deuxième poste, un gars me rempli mon formulaire et me demande un pourboire pour le geste. No hablo espagnol, no entiendo.
De retour dans le taxi, il nous propose de nous emmener jusqu'à Tumbes la ville d'où partent les bus, à 30 km.
Il en demande 25 doll...hors de question. Sauf qu'on est sur une route au milieu de nul part. On négocie, on y va. Puis il va proposer 100 doll jusqu'a Mancora. La tension monte. On refuse cathégoriquement. On se sent à ce moment là piégées et totalllement impuissantes, je garde la tete enfoncée dans mon chapeau pour ne pas m'enerver,
Enfin Tumbes, moche, glauque. Au terminal, un gars nous informe que les bus sont en grève. Il nous fait faire le tour dans son taxi pour nous prouver de sa bonne foi. Il nous propose alors de nous amener a Mancora pour 70 doll. On se regarde, hors de question de rester dans cette ville, on accepte le deal. Mancora est un spot de surf très fréquenté par les gringos, située a 140 km de Tumbes.
A la première pause gasoil, il nous declare que tous nos soles (monnaie locale) sont faux.Comment rester zen dans ce genre de situation? La route et longue et périllieuse.
Enfin, nous voici arrivees a destination...finale.
Je nai qu'une chose a dire, vive l'Equateur!
Demain, direction Chiclayo pour retrouver Claire et Nicolas. Sur ce, on va quand même aller profiter de la plage.
