En direct de Cuenca la suite de nos aventures en Ecuador... Les dernières d'ailleurs puisque demain nous prenons le bus pour Tumbes (ou peut-être ailleurs sur la côte péruvienne puisqu'il parait que ce n'est pas très beau et de toute façon on a 1 jour d'avance sur le planning... du fait d'une petite erreur de calcul de notre guignolette numero unos...)
Rassurez vous pendant que j'essaie d'écrire cet article, elle tente de mettre nos photos sur la toile.. ;)

nous avions 5h de bus de prévues jusqu'a Baños (que notre chauffeur a gaiement fait en seulement 4h...) Du coup nous ne sommes pas arrivées très tard, on a pu faire connaissance avec nos voisins de chambre, un grand allemand roux flamboyant (Tobias) et un petit israelien brun touffu trop la tchatche (Silla). Suis un super petit resto-bar international a tendance très anglaise fort sympathique et hop au lit.
Pas de folies ce soir là nous avions un programme chargé le lendemain : location de vélos et descente de la route en bord de falaise jusqu'à la cascada el diablo. Aprés en avoir vu au moins 5 sur la route on se demandait bien ce que celle ci pouvait avoir de si exceptionnel. Eh ben on a pas ét' déçues ! C'est une chute gigantesque, toute étroite mais avec un débit incroyablememt puissant c'etait épatant. Et puis bien sûr on est passé derrière la cascade et j'ajouterais que nous étions trempées jusqu'aux os de bonheur lorsqu'on a savoure nos excellentes trucha la plancha (truites grillées péchées dans la rivière juste en dessous) dans le resto du coin.
Après ce petit voyage sportif, retour a Baños a l'arrière d'une camionette, petite visite de la ville, coupe de cheveux a 2$ (5 minutes chrono chez une coiffeuse de quartier impressionament efficace et hop voilà notre Virgin avec une nouvelle coupe de cheveux tendance) et puis finalement décision d'aller aux thermes chaudes de la ville (qui est réputée pour ça entre autre).
Oui sauf que quand on est des guignolettes évidemment on se debrouille pour aller aux thermes a 17h02, alors que les thermes ferment entre 17 et 18h ! lol sacrés nous. Quoi qu'il en soit cela nous a permis d'aller tester quelques nouveaux cocktails dans un bar et de faire notamment plus ample connaissance avec l'israelien. Enfin 18h15 les thermes. Bondés evidemment. Mais fort sympathique. je pensais jamais réussir a rentrer dans le bain le plus chaud (environ 45 degrés) mais finalement, une fois passée la sensation d'être une grosse patate en pleine cuisson vapeur, c'est top !
Suivent un ptit resto italien étrange et une soiree pleine de charmantes rencontres culturels (des équatoriens de partout (ptit clin d'oeil a Alex, Johnny et ls autres), des am'ricain(e)s (ptit clin doeil a Josh, Trent et Jessica), des colombiens (ptit clin doeil a Manuel et Santiago)...) Bref fort sympathique ! Soirée cela dit marquée par la triste découverte d'un événement marquant pour toute notre génération : Mickael Jackson est mort !¿ Quelqu'un peut-il me confirmer que c'est vrai d'ailleurs ? (Paulin c vraiiiii ? ) Parce que je n'arrive toujours pas à y croire
Bref super soirée, enfin plutôt super nuit puisque nous avons dansé (surtout Virgin) la salsa jusqua à 4h du mat.
7h30, nous entamions un autre charmant voyage en bus.. de 8h ! Direction Cuenca. Bien dormie pendant ces 8h mais aussi bien appréciée de fabuleux paysages montagneux, tous verts, emplis de petits champs, de vaches (comme chez nous noires et blanches), de bosquets, de forêts jungliennes, de nuages enlaçants des volcans, de petits villages bien trop pauvres, et ponctués de vieilles mamies toutes petites, bronzées et bien typees avec costumes traditionnelles et chapeaux ronds ou hauts montants dans le bus. Marrant. Joli.
Pas grand chose d'intéressant à raconter pour cette premiere soirée a Cuenca. Signalons juste de délicieuses Shawarma (sorte de mini kebab au poulet très bons). Ah et si hélas il semblerait que Virgin ait perdu pyjama, paire de chaussettes et lunettes de soleil dans le précédent hôtel... (On soupçonne la dame qui a fait les lits..) Quand a moi RAS. Ah si j'ai ENCORE perdu la vis de ma branche de lunette PJ (sauf que cette fois j'ai personne pour la remettre nif)
Le lendemain, après moultes hésitations, on décide finalement d'aller quand même dans le parc national de El Cajas, à peine une petite heure et demie de bus (je crois qu"on est devenu accro lol). En tout état de cause il faut l'avouer, nous savions avant de partir qu'il risquait de pleuvoir et qu'on aurait pas beaucoup de temps. Finalement il ne faisait pas très beau effectivement mais suffisament pour apprécier ces grandioses montagnes truffées de petits lacs (lagunes comme ils appellent ça). Bon ca n a pas loupé on s'est un peu perdu, ce qui, cependant, nous a permis de découvrir une superbe forêt de Quinoa (étrange arbre tout tordu qui pousse seulement aux alentours de 4000 metres). Mais fidèles a nous mêmes nous avons tout de meme réussi à faire une ballade de deux heures et demie (comme prévu au départ), approximativement la meme que celle du "chemin balisé" prévue... Pour notre défense il faut bien noter qu'ils ont de très très sérieux progrès à faire quant au balisage des chemins.
Quoi qu il en soit c'etait fort sympathique et très joli (encore oui oui je sais) et notre première rando a 4000m ! lol épuisant (c'est pas gagné les filles !)
Voilà il est maintenant 20h15, la nuit est tombée sur Cuenca. Après une petite visite de la ville, une grosse pause d'écoute musicale d'un super petit groupe devant la cathédrale, et 1h déinternet... (Ben oui c'est bien galère d'écrire sur un clavier qwerty et en plus j'ai perdu l'apostrophe au milieu du texte désolé),
Nous allons donc profiter de notre dernière nuit en Équateur en testant la soupe chinoise en sachet dans la cuisine de l'hôtel.
